Mr. Pettrey was born in Norfolk and raised in Chesapeake, graduating from Hickory High School. He then went on to study the administration of justice and legal studies (B.S. cum laude) at George Mason University, and to earn his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from George Mason University School of Law where he was a member of both the Law Review and Honor Committee. By gaining his first experiences interning with the Chesapeake Commonwealth's Attorney's Office, Mr. Pettrey understands the prosecutor mindset and knows their next step often before they do. He also has the relationships with police officers, state troopers, and prosecutors to reach the result you desire in your case. Having tried more than a thousand cases throughout Hampton Roads in various courts, your case will be examined with the experience needed to reach the proper result.
